Offering guitar lessons in Aberdeen City and Aberdeenshire, as well as online, Lindsay is an experienced and enthusiastic guitar teacher who understands the needs of individual students with different musical ambitions, and he delivers the very best professional guitar lessons at a very competitive price from just £20 per lesson. With a wealth of musical knowledge and experience, both as a professional guitarist and as an expert guitar teacher, Lindsay's students learn fast and he can cater for all guitar styles and stages of learning.
Teaching Approach
Whether you want to learn to play your favourite songs, sit and pass a Grade exam or audition for a place at University or College, a personal lesson plan can be arranged for you which, with adequate practice, will improve your guitar playing and take you to a whole other level !
Lindsay's approach to teaching is that guitar lessons should be relaxing and fun but also productive and focussed on the actual music the student wants to play, not what the teacher plays !
Lessons are supported with guitar backing tracks, technical exercises, TAB music of study pieces as well as technical advice on sound production and getting 'the right tone'.
All Lessons are 1-to-1 and are available at a dedicated and comfortable Studio Room Office Suite Aberdeen City centre. Online lessons using Skype and Zoom are also available - the excellent exam results achieved throughout the Covid-19 pandemic prove this platform can work really well....if you have the right teacher ! Exams
For those students wishing to sit a grade exam Lindsay teaches all the major acoustic, bass and electric syllabi and has a 100% pass rate for students entered for all Grade exams, with the majority achieving Distinction level awards, something few guitar teachers can claim ! He also has 100% success rate for candiates auditioning for College/University.
SQA Curriculum for Excellence exams are also catered for and Lindsay is experienced at helping candidates achieve the highest award they can. The vast majority of Lindsay's SQA Nat 5, Higher and Advanced Higher students achieve the highest award !
Lesson Charges
Lessons are available either in the Studio or Online and can be arranged either weekly or on a 'Pay As You Go' basis. Weekly Studio and Online lesson charges reflect a block booking discount from the normal Consultation rate.
Studio & Online Lessons :
£20 for half hour weekly Studio/Online lesson.
£40 for one hour weekly Studio/Online lesson.
Consultations (Studio/Online):
£52 for a one hour "Pay As You Go" Consultation Lesson in the Studio or Online anywhere in the world !)
